Formula

TERP ≈ (cum-price × old + rights-price × new) ÷ (old + new), using the ratio you enter.

Classroom: cum 100, rights 80, 10:1

TERP ≈ (100×10 + 80×1) ÷ 11 ≈ PKR 98.18. Cash to take up one new share in that ratio unit is PKR 80.

FAQ

Should I take up the rights?

This desk does not say. TERP is a study label so you can see dilution if you lapse.

Is the result a buy or sell signal?

No. It is classroom arithmetic. Compare with filings and a licensed broker before any real order.
